Where is Update 3?

Some of you may be wondering where Update 3 is for Yugioh For HoloLens. Don't worry, we're still working on it, it's a huge update so that's why it's taking a lot longer. I wanted to keep the details of it a secret but I'll let you guys know what to expect since you've all been patiently waiting. Basically, Update 3 will be close our 1st beta release. In otherwords, Update 3 should be our first fully playable version. There will be online multiplayer support with the ability to duel a friend. Other features coming include more monster models and animations as well as the full decks. I can't make any promises yet of when this update will come out, but we're working hard on it so stay tuned!

Mini Update

Hey guys, so Update 3 is taking awhile to complete because of how big it is and what it encompasses. In the meantime, though, here's a mini update video to pass the time while we continue to work towards Update 3. In fact, that update might finally be our first playable beta release! So make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for the latest updates on the Yugioh project.

Submit your own 3D Models and Animations!

Hey guys, as I mentioned before, all volunteers are welcome to help out with this project. The more people helping out, the sooner we can make this game a reality! For those of you who would like to help out with 3D modeling and animations, you can submit your creations at this link:!Ajk43D5zOUSha4KCbPgkzEowQN8

We are currently focusing on the original Kaiba and Yugi starter decks for the initial release. Eventually down the road we can add more monsters, but for now this will be our initial goal. Thanks for all your help and support everyone!

Update 2 Now Available!

The next update to YuGiOh For HoloLens is now live on YouTube and the code changes have been pushed and are also live on GitHub. Check out the video and if you like, you can download the game from GitHub and play around with it if you like. As always, if you have any feedback or suggestions, let me know! In this update, I've added some sound effects, special card soundtracks, new and bigger monsters, better performance, and by popular request, Dark Magician Girl (currently very buggy). I don't know if the sound effects and soundtrack will be able to remain in future builds, but we'll see. The next update will have animations as well a lot of big major changes since we have some more contributors to the project now! Until then though, enjoy this update video!

In case the video doesn't work or look right, here's a direct link to it:

Sneak Peak of the Next BIG Update!

I'm back from vacation and I've made some progress since the last update. There's still some more work to be done before I post the next video of my progress, but for now, here's a couple screenshots of what's to come! Also, if anyone is an animator or has 3d animation skills and would like to help out, let me know (that's another hint for what's coming in the next update ;) ). Also, if you'd like me to also make a video tutorial of how to make simple holograms for the Microsoft HoloLens, please vote in the poll to the right of the page. Anyways, in the meantime, enjoy!

Life-size models experiment

By popular request ;)
As always, feel free to post any comments or suggestions you might have and don't worry, this next update will be a lot bigger than the previous one! Stay tuned and see you guys next time! :D

Sneak Peak Of The Next Update!

Here's a little sneak peak of what's coming up in the next update! This is being run in the HoloLens emulator so that's why the background is all black.

Some Extra Screenshots

Here are some higher quality screenshots of the game in action. The HoloLens only has a 2.4 MP camera for taking pictures so unfortunately this quality is about as good as it'll get for now.

1st look at game! (Early Pre-Alpha Footage)

I'm excited to show you guys the progress I've made with the Yugioh game so far. The game is really rough at this point and all it does is display your hand holographically and lets you summon some monsters. There's still a lot of work to do on the basic game mechanics and I'm going to look into reaching out to the developers of DevPro and YGOPro to see if they'd like to help out in creating this holographic version of YuGiOh. In the meantime, enjoy the video and stay tuned cause there's a lot more coming!

If anyone is a software developer or 3D modeler and would like to help, let me know! I could use all the help I can get. If you'd also like to donate money to help support the project, anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!
